Let It Be

Let It Be

Let It Be  Each morning, I pass a store where there are encouraging messages neatly stenciled on the window.   "Be" is followed by other positive words.  Be involved.  Be grateful.  Be inspired.  You likely get the idea.

It made me wonder and then a thought came to me.  Let It Be.  Yes, I believe sometimes it is best to "let it be".

More specifically my thoughts were let it be silent.  Let it pass.  Silence can be far more powerful than an overabundance of words.  At times.  I understand that my pondering often takes a long and wordy route.  And sometimes it may seem as if there may not be a definite destination.

Just randomness.  That's okay for me.  Not each or every time.  But there are times when silence and the absence of words work best.  Each situation is different.  That's it. For me.  Right now.

Morning Michael.

Like I've said before, in the past I held a grudge and got even.  Now, it just is what it is, let it go and move on.  It does make life easier and I can go to bed each night and rest, knowing I have a clean slate for the next day

Michael Jacobs - Three simple words - "Let It Be!" They can mean so much!

There is meaning in simplicity. Everything doesn't have to be complicated.

May your day be wonderful in every way.

Good morning Michael Jacobs our mind works in a funny way.... at times, we are silent and listen.... other times, we ramble....there's a passion that surfaces... I try to keep it simple....just as I do messages on a postcard....bottom line it in one statement.... that's my favorite.

Barbara Todaro - I keep a list of topics(often in the form of a post title) in draft status so I can further ponder.  At times, that is topic is quickly written while at other times it may never be expanded.  This seemed to work well with the kerfuffle of the elimination of points in the Q&A section and then the discussion once again about overall AR points.  This seems to have been going ever since I joined ActiveRain in 2010.  Likely before that.  More than likely it will continue after I leave this planet.  At one "point" this title and the song took a new life....  Anyway, sorry for the ramble.    Yes, even simple rambling is better.

Hi Michael Jacobs,

My first thought was the Beatle's song, "Let it be".  now I can't get it out of my head!  Wise words...

How inspiring to see these positive messages as you pass by this store. It would also inspire me to do business with the owner - unless it's  a product I absolutely wouldn't use. Still I can admire.  As for the point debacle, could not agree more. It's time to "Let it be."

Sheri Sperry - MCNE® - not such a bad thing.

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD - it's a juice strore and when I pass by it's typically before they have opened for the day.  Hopefully they (be) aware and (be) thoughtful of the ingredients in their product.

P.S.  For the latest AR  point debate, I was also thinking of the Frozen song - "Let it Go," but there's no "be."  So we'll stick with yours. ;)

What a "b"eautifully quiet and yet meaningful post - thanks Michael.    I am often quiet, because I'm thinking about what people have said.    For me, listening gives me a lot more insight than hearing myself talk.
