I've known my friend Tabby in Havasu for over 10 years now. She's a queen, a survivor and one of the most beautiful people I know. Great cook (professionally) and so artistic and creative.
I envy her for that and her AMAZING hair!
A few years back, she got on a kick to create chimes and suncatchers, and it has developed into a thriving business at Havasu's HUGE weekend outdoor markets. I had been wanting to add to my (geez, 25? hangings, chimes, dream and suncatchers) collection from hers for a while now.
This aurora borealis hangs over my desk, I feel the faeries smiling!
Now she has launched her Etsy page and I got to order 2 BEAUTIFUL creations . . . they're so gorgeous and nothing but nothing will flow Chi like these babies. (They also keep pigeons from choosing your roof when hung outside!)
When my treasures arrived, packaged beautifully with brightly colored tissue, there was a handwritten thank you with hanging hooks taped to it.
Way to go Tab! You made me smile once, twice, three times and I'm pretty sure I'm addicted to these pretty things.
MY POINT IS . . . in OUR business, the smallest thing that brings a smile, that extra touch, that little convenience . . . can matter a LOT.
And just because I cannot avoid at least a little cheekiness . . . Alice!
I been beaten, I been stabbed, I been hung, I been buried alive
and I can deal with that
it's just the little things . . .
