MCPS is hosting a recruitment event seeking industry colleagues who want to teach students about their careers. Please see the attached flyer for details. The event is Tuesday, January 14. We’re looking for professionals from the following fields:
~ automotive technology
~ healthcare professions
~ cybersecurity
~ construction management
~ architecture
~ construction electricity
~ carpentry
~ HVAC
~ plumbing
~ law enforcement and leadership
~ hospitality and tourism
~ restaurant management
~ cosmetology

Roy - those are all good career choices! And it doesn't hurt to learn a second or third trade skill. We learn best with continuous learning and developing many different skills. 

I hope many individuals will become skilled professionals in your community as a result of signing up and going through the programs. I hear opportunity knocking.
