We have found that it is important to take time to relax and practice stopping on a daily basis, and this idea came about from our practice of mindfulness and these words from Thich Nhat Hanh: "Many of us have been running all our lives. Practice stopping."
The form of stopping doesn't matter. Sometimes we walk on the beach, or sit on our deck admiring the plants, the bees, and the hummingbirds. Sometimes, it is sitting in the office and looking out the window. These are all moments of mindfulness, they are moments of rest. When we return to our work, we are refreshed and inspired, and the work flows!
Today, and every day, take a moment to practice stopping. Remember, the form does not matter, what matters is that you stop.
Wishing you all a delightful day and a great week ahead.
