Columbia, MD - 2020's Best City's for Jobs

Wallethub.com's report is out and Columbia, MD, located in desirable Howard County, placed 23rd on the top 100 list (Baltimore, MD placed 160th).  Columbia, MD is also on the list of best places to live.  

With 2019 firmly in the rear view mirror a lot of folks have listed a new job as one of their top resolutions.  If location isn't a problem one should check out this list for places that would likely be a great place to live and work.

Wallethub compares a number of key indicators when creating their list and they include job opportunities to employment, growth to monthly average starting salary, and socio-economics.

Columbia's unemployment reate is only 3.2% which is very low in comparison to other parts of the country.  

Zippia has ranked the 20 best companies to work for in Columbia and they include Medstar Health, W. R. Grace and Company, Tenable Network Security, and TD Ameritrade amongst others.  For a complete list visit their website.

There are currently 107 homes for sale in Columbia ranging in price from $119,900 to $1,975,000.  At the current rate of sales there is less than 1.2 months supply of homes for sale, so definitely a seller's market.
