Love is in the air, and it's still January!
Last week I posted My seller wrote a letter to her house.
That home was shown on the first day listed and went under contract that evening.
The buyer wrote one of his own, after reading the seller's letter, and gave permission to publish.
''Dear Megan,
I’ve been searching for quite a while to find the right place to call my first home. I was getting pretty discouraged until today when 1149 Linden Avenue popped up in my search. I immediately knew I had to see it. Only a few hours later, my realtor, parents, girlfriend, and I were walking into the living room and falling in love with the home.
I love all the things you wrote about in your letter: a brick colonial, centrally located with a yard, parking, and a view of the trees out the backdoor. The rooms are the perfect size and I love the original hardwood floors - they give the home so much warmth. All of your upgrades - especially the bathroom - are outstanding as well.
I’ve seen a lot of houses but that’s all they were – houses. This one was the first I looked at and saw as a home. That’s no doubt a reflection of the love you gave to it – what shows that more than getting married in the living room!
I hope to make this my home and want you to know that it will be in good hands and will continue to be filled with love and happy memories.
Thank you, Jeffrey"
Note:
My seller accepted the contract before reading the love note above!
With all these love letters, can you guess our settlement date?
