Today’s View – Jan. 16, 2020 – New Market, Md. 21774 – Detached Homes

This is a market report for existing detached homes in New Market, Md. 21774.  At the time of this report (01/16/2020) not including new construction 25 such homes are on the market FOR SALE, another 28 under contract, and 14 have sold in the last 30 days. The Absorption Rate (Active/30 day sold) is 1.78 which is considered a seller’s market.

Last week only 3 were added to the market, 2 went under some form of contract, and 4 successfully completed the sale process. 

While the minimum lot size is just .06 acres and the maximum lot size is 1.6 acres, the median is .22 acres.

 

Three Bedrooms Home

Currently, there are 10 three-bedroom existing detached homes in New Market on the market for sale.  These homes range in price from a low of $309,900 to $479,900, with the median price being $359,950.  The days on market for these homes ranges from one week (6 days) to 4.5 months (134 days) with the median being 1.5 months (49 days).

There are 11 three-bedroom detached homes in New Market that are under some form of contract.   The last known list price of these homes ranged from $279,900 to $455,000 with the median being $369,900.  The days on market for these homes ranges new to the market (3 days) to 4 months (123 days) with the median being 2 months (57 days).

There are no seven-bedroom existing detached home in New Market under some form of contract, and none have successfully completed the sales process either.
