Edgar Allen Poe's Birthday Celebrations

Edgar Allen Poe called Baltimore home.  He lived here and his one time home is now a museum in his honor and he is buried here too.

On Saturday afternoon (January 18, 2020) at Westminster Hall (corner of W Fayette and Greene Streets) and his burying ground there will be staged adaptations of three of his poems starting at 3pm.  There will also be music and an appearance by the Poe Toaster.  For more information and times visit.

Then on Sunday Poe House becomes a literary landmark.  Poe House is located at 203 N. Amity St, Baltimore, MD 21223.

Perhaps I'll see you there!!

Good morning again June. I didn't know Poe was born in Baltimore. I would surely go if I were local.

Michele Cadogan 917-861-9166 The Allan Parson's Project recorded an album called Tales of Mystery and Imagination based entirely on works by Edgar Allen Poe.  Here I am showing my age, we studied that in high school music class.

June Piper-Brandon I lived in Owings Mills for several years before I landed here in Seattle. My single biggest regret is failing to get to the Poe House.
