Breakfast and Cauliflower

We often get to the Carlsbad Farmers' Market on Wednesdays in Carlsbad Village, but haven't been to the Vista Farmers' Market for some time. It's every Saturday at the Courthouse Complex on Melrose, and is quite a bit bigger.

 

We have our coffee at home, then venture out to enjoy breakfast at the Market (there are all sorts of food vendors - Indian, African, Vietnamese, vegan, crepes...the list goes on and on) and then do our produce shopping.

 

We were pretty much done and walked by this one organic farm vendor with this beautiful cauliflower - it looked a lot like broccoli. We didn't need more but it was worth a photo. What a colorful dish this would make, don't you think?
