How can you use your blog to engage others?
Since 2006, I have been blogging on ActiveRain, and here are
I just started making a list of some of the ways that I engage others.
When blogging, I write to and for specific people, including other agents, AR members, friends, and anyone interested in Real Estate. I write what is happening in RE, may be an inspiration, perhaps a household tip, kudos to another Realtor® or vendor. If reading another post that I don't agree with, I will write one with my point of view.
But most of all, I blog for my buyers and sellers to bring attention to my unique group of listings and the individual home buyers.
Here are some of those topics
I blog my properties multiple times.
I blog many photos.
I blog the distinctive features of my homes.
I blog the house from the seller's view and the letters they write to their home.
I blog my open houses,
I blog when they go under contract or are TOO LATE
I blog when we go to settlement.
I blog when there is a situation during a transaction.
I blog letters and testimonials from satisfied, happy buyers and sellers.
I blog about the questions received during the week and on my radio show.
I blog when a specific buyer is looking for a one of a kind home.
I blog about answering the phone,
I blog when finding something new that others might want or need.
And I encourage everyone, not just agents, to read my blog. When others tell me a story or give me an idea, I may blog it.
Love when the public calls the radio show, sends me a note, email, or text. I love it when I share a situation during a transaction, and the client says they remember the case from my posts. Many more are reading than are commenting.
