Meadowmoore Pickerington Ohio Real Estate Update
What happened to Meadowmoore Subdivision in real estate sales last year? I've got an updated list of real estate happenings in Meadowmoore. And best of all, it's coming from the #1 Selling Realtor in Meadowmoore Pickerington Ohio since 2011, Sam Cooper!
If you're reading this, chances are- you're either thinking of buying a home in Meadowmoore or thinking of selling a home in Meadowmoore. Before getting in to the statistics, let me tell you a short description about Meadowmoore and why I love it. Meadowmoore is tucked away off of Blacklick Eastern Rd. in the Pickerington North High Shool District. Residents also enjoy Toll Gate Middle & Elementary Schools. Meadowmoore is just far enough from the busy hustle and bustle state route 256 but just close enough to get there when you need to. Upon entering into the neighborhood you'll notice well landscaped yards and common areas. The neighborhood also features a park for residents and lake "Moore Pond". Often in nice weather you'll notice neighbors fishing for bass and crappie in Moore Pond.
Donley Builders built the 1st phase of Meadowmoore in the early 2000's. The 1st phase of Meadowmoore predominantly featured homes with stucco and brick siding. Some facades were also hardy plank siding with brick water walls. There were close to 70 or more homes built in the first phase of Meadowmoore. Canyon Lane, Meadowmoore Boulevard, Church View Drive, Garden Drive and Stone Church Ct. were all streets located in that first building phase of the neighborhood.
In approximately 2009 another street was added with just a few homes being built. That street was Banker Drive. The recession hit and building new homes in Meadowmoore had slown down. The real estate market in Central Ohio started to improve in 2012 and Donley began building more homes. Most of the remaining lots in the community were then sold to MI Homes who began building their upper scale line of homes. Donley and MI Homes finished the remaining lots in the community. Most of the houses in that final stage were dressed with hardy plank siding with brick or stone water walls.
As a Realtor, people always comment to me " That's my dream home neighborhood ", referring to Meadowmoore. Recently, the area has seen several other new neighborhoods pop up including Reserve at Meadowmoore ( also built by Donley ), Chesapeake ( a Fischer Home Neighborhood ) and Wellington Place. Although, Wellington Place is located in Pickerington Central Schools. All are desirable communities.
So, let's see the recent numbers in Meadowmoore. 10 Homes were sold in Meadowmoore in the past 12 months. Another blog has a different number. And that is because they are including another neigbhorhood by mistake " Reserve at Meadowmoore ". Although the two connect, they are not the same neighborhoods. Of those 10 sales in Meadowmoore, Sam Cooper HER Realtors had the highest sale located at 13571 Church View Ct. Pickerington Ohio 43147. This house sold for $467,000 and closed in November 2019. 4 of those 10 sales were sold by Sam Cooper.
