With sidewalks on both sides of the street, this is a true walking neighborhood where you can meet and greet your neighbors as they stroll through the neighborhood (many with their dogs and children).

Ardrey is served by some of the top schools in Charlotte, including Ardrey Kell High School, Community House Middle School, and Elon Park Elementary. Any number of private and parochial schools are also nearby, including the British International School in Charlotte and St. Matthew Catholic School (both in the Ballantyne area).
