Branding Moment: Rebuttel?

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Napa Consultants DRE00893924

When developing a brand,  articulating your marketing message should be your first priority.  We love analyzing wine brands because the competition for your attention is fierce.   You must instantly tell your target market how you are different and better than your competition. Or, if you don't they move on to the next brand.

What would you do?  We look forward to hearing your first impressions!

Roy Kelley My wine guy classified it as the poor man's Chardonnay.  Basically it was a mix of this and that to get the taste...TJ's sells a wine from France for the same price from a prestige house in France.  It is their lesser brand and it is excellent.  A

Barbara Todaro we agree, it is geared to those who want cheap and don't care about the provenance of it.  They have a market, but I am not it, nor was our wine guy, who touts a French wine for the same price from a prestige house...A

Brian England When the quality and brand come together, music happens, and the right people want to buy from you...so quality has to be communicated in the branding, or else people will pass you buy.  A

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD the mispelling is what we refer to as effect marketing.  They do that to catch your attention.  Personally, we dislike this form of marketing, because it reeks of desperation.  A

Sheila Anderson my wine guy hated it.  He called it a "poor man's Chardonnay", fake oak, fake butter, fake, fake fake.  A

I think it a strange name for a wine, not to mention the misspelling.  I am not a wine drinker but even I know wine with a screw cap isn't as good as one with a cork .

Hi Ron and Alexandra- I'd send a case to a group of attorneys. That's what popped into my mind!

That marketing doesn't really appeal to me.  However, I could see it perhaps tapping a limited market among attorneys and legal professionals.

Myrl Jeffcoat That is so funny and somehow I would hope that these legal eagles would get a kick out of it, and I love that you and Kathy Streib are on the same wave length.  Cheers to bothof you.  A

Sharon Lee actually, we are seeing some high end wines introducing screw caps, as cork trees are not producing enough cork.  There is also an effort to recycle them by grinding used ones down and reshaping them into cork...A
