Southampton in Ballantyne saw 4 homes sell at an average sale price of $328,000 during the fourth quarter of 2019. Median sale price for these 4 Southampton homes was $310,000. Sellers received 99.11% of their listing price in final sale price. Average days on market dropped to just 18 days year-over-year. Because Southampton homes range in sale price from the high $200,000's to the high $300,000's and even now into the low $400,000's, the decrease in average and median sale prices versus the fourth quarter one year ago is not necessarily an indication that home values are dropping. Rather, it's more reflective of the price mix of homes that were listed and sold during the fourth quarter 2019.


As of year-end 2019, one Southampton home was under contract and no homes were actively listed for sale. Southampton ended 2019 as a home seller's neighborhood and remains so in the first month of 2020.
