As we proceed further into the month of January 2020, business calls are beginning to come in at a steady pace. Once we end a year and cross over the threshold of a new year, the market could perform much differently than we would appreciate.
I think, at this moment, we’ve dodged that bullet. Buyers are being referred by past clients; listing appointments, most importantly, are now coming in; and I’m feeling good about the year 2020.
All of the important factors seem to be in place. Marketing is on track; the rates are down; and if listing calls continue to make our phone ring, we’ll have a good year.
This year I will add SOI postcards to the program. Target marketing those past clients on whom we rely for forwarding leads they receive from their SOI will be a monthly task. It’s a cycle, and as that sphere becomes larger, our business increases in direct proportion.
We’ve been very fortunate to have faithful past clients who frequently call and set us up with their friends. We know we have the consistent support of local clients with our monthly mass mailings. We need to make sure we touch out of town clients with our SOI postcards. That’s the added marketing task.
