It wasn’t an impromptu open house, but we still had two good showings in an hour. Two days ago, an agent requested an appointment through our Showing Time on my listing 2911 Montebello Terrace. Immediately responded and set up to show the property today at 12:30.
Another agent sent a text at 1:00 am this morning saying he may have a buyer for this home. My return text, send them at 12:30. You, of course, are honored.
An online buyer contacted me, asking if I had any time to show the house in the next week or two. My response: How about today at 12:30?
Because of my tight schedule, appointments at 11 and 2:00 I chose not to make this one an open house since 1/2 hour travel time was needed on each end.
Great news, three appointments.
It would have been a successful open house if it were actually open.
Two out of three showings, in less than an hour... success. The second agent’s buyer, to his surprise, did not show up.
Spur of the moment showings can and do work some times.
When is the house going to be open? When do you want to see it?
Combining showings on the same property has always been a good use of time for my sellers and me. Most of the time, this happens on one of my Impromptu Open Houses. Today worked out without an announced open house.
