Who else saw that the world-famous weather-predicting groundhog Punxsutawney Phil, predicted an early spring for 2020?
From the unbelievably-named Gobbler’s Knob in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, America's official weather-predictor groundhog Punxsutawney Phil was brought out to make his annual prediction this morning on February 2nd, Groundhog Day. No one even gave Phil a cup of coffee.
As a reminder, the legend is if a groundhog sees his shadow, it means six more weeks of winter. If the day is overcast so he shows no shadow, spring is on the way.
Reportedly 02-02-2020, is also the first palindrom day in 909 years, per Facebook.
The only good news is that like most weather-predictors, Phil is only right some of the time.
