Our lives are filled with “choices.” The choices we make define who we are and how we think. That’s frightening, when you think about those who have more influence than you and make important decisions. We have no control over that until election time, but we won’t touch up that right now!!
Making business decisions everyday will either make or break you. It takes time for either of those results to happen. “Risk taking” factors into our business decisions.
Those who lean toward a conservative mode are less likely to make a “score” quickly. I have fewer patience than most, and I’ll risk the loss of funds to test a marketing method or new avenue. All of our marketing is a test. If you think you’ve already satisfied that test, you haven’t. People change. You’ll know about that with the response or lack thereof to your marketing.
We must always change our marketing plan, and that doesn’t mean our method of marketing. What I reference here is target marketing, as opposed to mailing to the masses. As our sellers’ market has become so tight that our single family home resale listings, as of today, are “11 in number!” Imagine 11 Active Resale listings in a town of 7,722 single family homes!
Choices must be made on how to market, and I’m changing my path in 2020 as I move forward on this marketing journey. A variety of topics, targeting many different groups of property owners, is my game plan. It’s a test!!! You’ll know the results, if and when you see new listings being marketed.
