Serendipity Sunday Of Sorts:

It's Not Just The Cup

That Runneth Over

It's Not Just The Cup That Runneth Over  Recently, in the Q&A(typically a laugh riot of all sorts) section a question was asked about glasses half-filled or half-empty.  As one might expect, the responses covered many possibilities.

The truth, of course, is that cups or glasses can be seen in varied states of fullness.  Perspective is found in those vessels.  So is opportunity.  In all likelihood lots of things can be found there.

We can find answers to many things that floweth and overfloweth going back in history if one is so inclined to do an extensive search.  Words of wisdom can be seen from a religious context as well as from our furry friends.  The sources may be endless.  This quote sums it up well for me:

Begin noticing

and being careful

about keeping your imagination free of thoughts

that you do not wish to materialize.

Instead

initiate a practice of filling your creative thoughts

to overflow with ideas and wishes you fully intend to manifest.

Honor your imaginings

regardless of others seeing them as crazy or impossible.

                                                                                                       Wayne Dyer

Michael, I like to think my cup is always half full, and think of it as a positive.

I see people so wrapped up in their thoughts (that are negative), they cannot see any positive at all.

Jeffrey DiMuria 321.223.6253 Waves Realty - unfortunately I would say that's a fair observation at times and for some people.

Sharon Tara - the wisdom of Wayne Dyer carries forward.  As for the spammers.  They do seem to approach on a somewhat willy-nilly way. It seems yesterday was a real bonanza of sorts with about 200 points or so for reporting spam comments.

I also believe there is always plenty, but perspective, as you mention, is absolutely everything.  As you know the Q &A is not one of my favorite places to hang out, therefore, I'm grateful you pondered the question into a post. The quote is a nice match for your theme.

PS - really suprised at the number of comments from people saying they are not familiar with Wayne Dyer - The Father of Motivation.

Very interesting! I am reminded of "As a Man Thinketh!"

As A Man Thinketh is an essay and self-help classic, which argues that the key to mastering your life is harnessing the power of your thoughts and helps you cultivate the philosophy and attitude of a positive, successful person.

Too often people get on band wagons without carefully thinking about different perspectives and what it means to them personally. I think about the inventors who changed the way we live, especially those who came afterwards, making continuous improvements to original ideas.

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD - I was rather surprised at the number of comments that seem to ask "Wayne Dyer?".  I didn't expect that.

Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP - yes, the inventors in life are extremely important but so are those that follow.  Refining,  Refreshing.  Re-designing.  Modifying in all sorts of ways.  Enhancing products/thoughts for years and genrations to come.

Debe Maxwell, CRS - I imagine many ideas/concepts may have been initiall seen as crazy or impossible but later became accepted or even commonplace.  Imagine someone paying money for buy bottled water when it is available "on tap" sooo inexpensively.
