Just Some Random Thoughts...

Services for Real Estate Pros with RE/MAX Executive Realty 104763

It’s Sunday morning at 11:00am here, and I’ve accomplished quite a bit today!  I hit ActiveRain bright and early, since I was up at 4:00am.

The gym opened at 7:00 this morning, so I have that under my belt, too.

My oldest grandson loves Armenian Braided Rolls, so I made a full batch for him and for his younger brother. That’s 104 rolls!!

I’ve been thinking about a few buzz words that surfaced, as I scrolled through blog posts.

The word “resilient” came to mind this morning. Real estate agents are a very resilient group of people.

Another word was “tough” and although it can have a similar meaning to resilient, it also has a connotation of being rough, hard and demanding.  There are agents who fit that description. I’ve met them. They ARE tough!!! Most are NOT.

I learned there are many days devoted to Chocolate! Today is one.  I baked rolls that are high in calorie but with no chocolate.

I have NCIS Los Angeles on in the background because I’ve had my fill of politics. I’ve been glued to CNN and all of the recent events. I have to chuckle at the reference of Bill Clinton being the “come- back kid.” More than enough said about “come-back” and/or “forever.”

Did I say I’ve had my fill of politics? I’ll be meeting with several people who work within the Criminal Justice System in MA, and they’re running for a political position within the State. They MUST win in Franklin. They want me to participate with their campaign(s.) I’m excited about that challenge. My meeting is 2 weeks from today.

I might relax for the rest of today and create a few postcards for the near future.

That's a whole lotta rolls, Barbara! I can just imagine how good they are from the picture... of course, adding some chocolate to them would be perfect in my eyes! Enjoy the rest of your day.

Your marketing prowess is spreading, Barbara! You accomplish a lot on your "relaxing" day.

It's now 9:15AM here; I'm in my pjs still, in recovery mode after a busy week, with another open house in a couple of hours. I did roast a huge panful of vegetables  - some for breakfast, some for dinner, more for snacks!

Hello Barbara,  You have been a busy girl this morning already.  I can remember getting up early and baking in my younger days with my mother at the restaurant.

Hi BarbaraT- you have been one busy lady. We walked this morning and saw the Boy Scouts breaking camp. They'd been there since Friday night (not for me!) You're like me...I often have NCIS LA or the original on in the background while I'm baking or cleaning.

Those look yummy. I have had my fill of politcis, we are flooded and i feel drowned here in NH. I went downtown for lunch and to check out some of the national TV studios they have set up. No politcians but no shortage of reporters wanting to ask you questions. I didnt photo bomb anyone yet, but Mondays a new day. On a serious note, I am very interested in the criminal justice changes. We had a change here in with bail and was not thought out. I hope other states can learn from the flood of those put back on the streets to raise heck again with no fear of jail. They need to change it and change it quickly to a happy medium.

Hey, I think I have the same baking trays!  I am guessing that it would not be advisable for me to make Armenian braided rolls for myself, right?
