Quincy & Gary Gopher Meet Up: Now You See Me, Now You Don't!

NOW YOU SEE ME from The Language of Luxury on Vimeo.

Gophers abound in Quincy Park this time of the year.  They are cute little buggers, and Quincy often will wait at one of their entry ways to see one pop up.  He even caught one not long ago, and he does release them without harming them. Catch and release is his modus operandi when it comes to creatures that wander there.

Ron created this 23 second video, and we hope you will enjoy it!

Sheila Anderson Quincy has a lot of patience, and occasionally sticks his paw down the hole.  Gary is very smart.  LOL.  A

Morning again Alexandra.

Unusual for a cat to catch and release, given their instinct.  Enjoyed the video Ron, thanks

Hello Alexandra and Ron - As a child, I remember seeing gophers in our backyard on occasion - maybe it was so much new construction in the area or perhaps it was the vegetable garden and fruit trees that attracted them. I don't recall much interaction(friendly or otherwise).

This is just too cute, Alexandra... nothing like watching a cat so focused on something.

This is absolutely adorable. You guys are having your own version of Groundhog day. Gopher Style!  I love it.  Cute how he plays peek-a-boo with Sir Quincy.

Michael Jacobs They are all over our area.  I think they all moved here.  If we plant something in the hard. the rooted parts are put into a mesh that they nor the moles cannot bite through.  I once watched a tomato plant move as the critter munched it.    A
