7 Hot Selling Matthews, NC (28105 Zip Code) Neighborhoods To Watch In 2020

 

Matthews homes remained in great demand in 2019... much of this demand stems from the fact that Matthews offers numerous communities with affordably priced homes under $300,000. Of the 7 hottest selling neighborhoods, 5 had average sale prices under $300,000.

 

During 2019, Matthews homes sold quickly...the average cumulative days on market for the 5 neighborhoods whose average sale price was under $300,000 ranged from 5 days to 29 days. Average sale price to list price was also high -- 4 of the hot neighborhoods sold at 99+% of asking price, while the other 3 sold at 98+% of asking price. In other words, if you wanted to buy a home in one of Matthew's hot neighborhoods in 2019 you had little room to negotiate and you had to make offers quickly.

Brightmoor remained a "hot" selling neighborhood in Matthews with 31 homes sold in 2019 compared with 26 home sales in 2018. Average sale price of Brightmoor homes in 2019 was $289,648. Cumulative average days on market were under one month at 29 days and sellers received 99.19% of asking price.
