Staying the course is doing something until you achieve something you have planned to accomplish. That’s how I must think every day, in our extreme sellers’ market. I’ve posted the stats. You’ve seen the very small number of homes and condos on the market in my town.
We all have choices. We can sit back and hope to weather the storm, or we can continue to market and spend money with the goal of making the phone ring. There is still business to be found in everyone’s marketplace.
My choice in 2020 is to continue to “stay the course.” I’ve been marketing online and offline. I write blog posts, and they’re posted on a variety of sites including Facebook, personal and business pages.
My offline marketing is as strong as it was last year. I do monthly mailings and have increased that to include target marketing for land and fix and flip homes. My next mailing will be to the entire condo community in my town, and that’s 1,867 condos.
The bottom line is to “stay the course” and don’t cut back on marketing. When and if homeowners decide they are ready to call for a Free Market Analysis, they will search for your visibility on a variety of sites plus their print marketing sources.
Be visible. Spend the time and the money “to stay the course.” It will all result in future business. We are now feeling the results of “staying the course.” Did I mention how thankful I am that I did not veer off that path?
