Better watch those P's and Q's!
Growing up in the south afforded many life lessons. One in particular was a reminder that we were taught to have manners and use them. A quick Yes mam, No sir was expected when responding to adults or someone would Learn ya - durn ya!
Usually, that was my mother and it was not a simple Bless your heart moment, it was more like a Coming to Jesus meeting. Though, she was a slender woman of small stature, she had gumption and could pop a knot on your head, lickety split!
So, this morning while remembering days gone by when No bigger than a minnow in a fishing pond, I wanted to thank her for instilling More lessons than Carter’s got little pills. I do declare, it keeps past clients coming back to use my services now, Ya hear?!
Furthermore, "If you do not use your manners in business, it will not amount to a hill of beans." You can quote me on that!
I'm fixin' to go golfing at the 'remote office' over yonder 'till the cows come home or I'm worn slap out If the creek doesn't rise.
I reckon y'all to have a Happy Sunday all!
