Stress is a big problem for a lot of businesses including the real estate sector. It often results in absenteeism which reduces productivity for a business.

In this post I am going to talk about how to reduce instances of stress in the workplace.  This is a continuation from the previous post where I discussed how to stay healthy in work. Mental health is such a huge factor in the workplace as time at work takes up most of a persons time when taking family time into comparison.

In this post I am suggesting a few tips to help employees deal with stress in the workplace.

1) Encourage Hobbies

One of the best ways is to encourage employees to undertake activities such as hobbies. Hobbies are a great way for people to enjoy something that they have a passion for and get happiness from. If your employees enjoy music, why not work with a guitar shop to encourage a discount offer for your staff members. Relationships with other businesses often leads to win win scenarios.

2) Encourage Engagement

Team building exercises are a great way to promote your staff members to talk to each other. There are lots of team building ideas that you and your team could try. This would greatly promote friendships within your company and help staff morale overall.

3) Reward Results

Team members need to be rewarded for results that they achieve. Give performing team members the recognition that they deserve to help keep their morale up and help take some stress of their shoulders.

Those were some simple tips to help alleviate stress from your team members. In the real estate sector, it is so important that your top performing team members are in full health to ensure that they perform at their best.
