Do You See What I See?

Do You See What I See?

Do You See What I See?  This isn't a Rorschach test or anything with psychological overtones.  It's about perception.  Our own. Those of others, of course.

No in-depth analysis needed.  Just some notice to be observant...be aware of your surroundings but also to look just beyond.  Each and every day.   Each moment too.

Miracles happen everyday, change your perception of what a miracle is

and

you'll see them all around you

                                                                                               Jon Bon Jovi

While this quote was new-to-me when I saw it, similar words and quotes were familiar.  I saw it as another example of perspective.  And how we can hear and see the same thing but express it just a bit differently.  I like that.

Michael, perceptions will differ at times, and we sometimes see what we want to see.

Perspective is something with which I am extremely familiar on a technical basis.  As it pertains to life, one has to assess the situation and decide from which 'view' it must be regarded.  There is first person and second-person perspective and narrative.  Most often e ach sees as they want to see, as they have programmed themselves to view the world around them.  When something doesn't fit, there is a schism.  Gestalt...

Hi Michael,

Good post. I think at times we all can be very narrow minded seeing only what we want to see unfortunately.
