Painting cabinets is the new trend. Why replace when you can make your kitchen alive again with a fresh coat of paint. Your kitchen can become an extension of you. Using vibrant colors can make your cabinets "pop out". Looking at this picture, do you see the problem with this kitchen?
So what is wrong with this kitchen? If you said the counter is cluttered, you would be right. One of the first rules in getting your home ready for sale, is to remove clutter. The kitchen is the heart of the home and should show perfectly.
In the end, I listed this home "as is". The seller was deeply concerned there would not be a buyer. They even considered it selling it for half it's value to one of those "we pay cash for your home" people. I came in and gave the seller a value "as is" and what it would be worth with a new kitchen, new bath and newly painted walls. The husband was sick and they needed a quick sale. They also did not have any money to remodel. Could I sell it "as is?" I sure could and I did. The seller was very happy in the end.
It is important that every Buyer or Seller should not just choose any agent, choose the BEST agent for the job. Having an agent that works for you is a must.
