Barbara Todaro - how close are you to Tanglewood? I love reading post by Sheila Anderson about Tanglewood, and enjoyed my one visit there immensely. Boston, with its wonderful symphony, might be a bit of a trek for you?

Good morning, Michael Jacobs - I have no idea what to expect from this concert, but it sounds fun, and I'm looking forward to attending.

it's very far..... I hate driving long distances.... next month I'll meet Sheila half way....actually, I think I have the advantage of that distance.....

Lottie,

What a great event, and it sounds very enjoyable.  We would certainly attend if it was not so long of a drive.  Cheers, A

Thanks, Roy Kelley - nursing an injured ankle/leg today, so no hike for me . The good news, though, is I'll get caught up on many computer-related tasks and have time for some home yoga and stretching. This coming week should be a very productive one--a sign-off tomorrow, and hopefully signing a new listing. We'll see! Enjoy your week, too, camera in hand.

Hi Lottie Kendall - To me, there is nothing else in the world that soothes my soul and gets me into the perfect mood than a Classical Music Concert. I just went to one last week and had a very enjoyable time. But the one I attended didn't include Trivia, games, or any fun activities. However, there was free appetizers and Champagne or Punch when it concluded.

I especially love Mozart! Once I went to a Mozart Birthday Party. All the guests had to dress in period style clothing and when entering the Ballroom, everyone got a Mask to wear. It was quite entertaining! What I thought was really funny is, the only people who wore wigs were the men!

What fun that Mozart concert party must have been, Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP - I must admit, I don't dress in costumes, but should step out of my comfort zone and try it sometime!

Friday's SF Chamber Orchestra concert was lots of fun--great music, super informal, lots and lots of laughs -- good for the soul.

Grant Schneider - you're right; we walked (20 minutes only each way!) to and from Friday evening's concert, which was very informal, lots of fun, and full of laughter. We're now fans!

Lottie Kendall - I was much younger when I went to that Mozart Birthday Party. I'm not a costume person either. I found a pretty, plain black sundress that went down to the floor and I wore a pearl string necklace. The feathered mask they handed me when I arrived was the perfect accessory to hide behind. As it turned out, it really was fun but once was enough for me!

It sounds like you had a lot of fun too! There's something exciting about being live and not just sitting in a theater chair staring up at the big screen in the dark. Life is about meeting people and I'm glad to hear you had a very enjoyable time!

It's good to do new things, try a variety of activities. As I tell my engineer husband, we don't have to like everything, but why not give it a try? A couple of weeks ago we went to a sock hop (think 1950's) at the Officer's Club in the Presidio - took us out of our routine and we had a ball!.

I believe the word free is the best four letter word in our vocabulary however sometimes things aren't really as advertised. I believe this concert is worth all the enjoyment you can and will receive...
