I have chosen a wonderful AR member who has been a mentor to many. My choice Debbie Reynolds , has not been active lately and her absence is felt.
Debbie is a knowledgeable and well experienced real estate agent. Her positive attitude toward other members and Active Rain was displayed in all of her posts. I can remember her contests including "Ringing and Singing" which challenged members to call other members and write about them. I have chosen three of her posts below.
- Why did I choose these posts?
These are three examples where Debbie shows knowledge of the real estate profession, the proper professionalism and etiquette on Active Rain and her positive persistent attitude.
- Does the post have first impression qualities?
The first impression is found within the title which catches my interest. They are topics worth reading.
- Was the subject matter captured?
Debbie's content is always well thought out and to the point the was captured in the title. She reinforces point with examples.
- Can the point of the post be put to good use personally and/or professionally?
All three can be put to good use. One tells the importance of turning lemons into lemonade and toughening up. Another expresses the vision of the Active Rain Platform and one tells the real truth about being an agent.
- What message do you walk away with?
The three posts are filled with take aways. These range from specific suggestions to understanding the meaning of the subject for your life.
- Is the author an example of the post subject?
Debbie doesn't just talk the talk. She walks the walk. The posts reflect her practices and her beliefs.
- My two cents.
I always enjoyed reading Debbie Reynolds. Her posts are full of human interest and sincerity. For my part I also enjoyed working with her to sponsor my own contests. And I had the pleasure of meeting her in person.
The three posts I chose are:
