Robert- I know this has been said before but I am always amazed at the people who think these things up and why they can't channel that knowledge into legitimate ways to make money. I wonder if this will eventually turn us back to using cash only and staying off the internet.

There are always people trying to figure a new angle to scam someone else. There was a news article on local news where someone is trying to rent a home. The information is taken from an active listing and then put out as a rental. They try to collect the rent without actually showing the property. In Portland, where active rentals are thin, this can attract attention, especially from someone moving into the area and doesn't understand the way things work. Bottom line, don't rent a property that you haven't toured.
Wow! I've never seen this. Good to know! There's so much out there that oftentimes I think, "I can't wait to retire and shut all of this down!"
