The Important Things - Ask yourself a question or two!

By

Yesterday, I suggested taking some time out for yourself weekly.  Literally, write an appointment with yourself into your datebook.  Now that you've made your date, here are some questions you can contemplate.  Just try a couple at a time and be honest with yourself about them.  These can really help you re-energize your self-concept and focus on your most important things!

  • spiritually
  • personally
  • professionally
  • financially
  • physically
  • socially
  1. What is the meaning of my life to me in the above categories?
  2. What will my success look like in the above categories?
  3. What are my major strengths and talents?
  4. How am I using these strengths and talents?
  5. What have I done recently to further develop my strengths and talents?
  6. What have I done in the past that has given me lasting joy, pleasure, and a sense of achievement?
  7. What responsibility do I have for the encouragement, support or direction of other people?
  8. Who could use my help right now?
  9. What qualities in my friends do I really admire?
  10. What qualities in me have my friends called my attention to?
  11. What actions of my friends and family really upset me?
  12. What achievements do I want most?
  13. What steps am I now taking on the road to reaching those achievements?
  14. What might I do this week in working toward a goal?
  15. If I were independently wealthy, what is one thing I KNOW I would do?
  16. What else would I probably do?
  17. What do I want (to be)(to have) in 1 year . . . 5 years . . . 10 years?
  18. What do I need to change THIS year in order to get to the 1, 5, and 10 years?
  19. One more thing that occurs to me after completing this is . . .

Howdy Sharon

You have listed some very good questions for folk's to think about.

I spend al least 8 hours a week in my sweat lodge, to be with the spirits of life.

To think over lots of questions.

God Bless The U.S.A.
