Hey, I have a quick question - a friend of mine just bought a condo on the beach in Miami (to be near family). My first thought was about it being "on the beach."

Do you have out-of-towners ask about extra measures taken in the newer condo buildings to withstand ___ winds, etc.? Is that something that you market in Naples when posting in MLS? 

I know, it's off-the-wall but, I knew you would know the answer to that, if anyone here in the Rain did!

Hi Debe Maxwell, CRS, yes it is a very common questions. Hurricane protection is a key concern especially if you are on the beach. The building codes vary by community. In our area for example almost everyone on the beach has invested in hurrican shutters or hurricane impact windows. We do mention it in listing information because so many of our residents are not hear during hurricane season and htey want to know their home or condo is protected. If you have any additional quesitons please let me know.
