Colorful tropical ti leaves in the Maui sunshine
What can I say, it's Monday and sometimes a little lightness is required.
These are ti plants, and the leaves are called ti leaves, but not the kind you make a drink from. The leaves have many uses here in Hawaii and almost every yard will have some growing. They say it's good luck to plant one at every corner of your house. You can't really have too many because they are useful for cooking, serving food, decorating, making lei and other crafts, and more. With a wide variety of colors and sizes, it's fun to collect many different types in your garden. Rugged and easy to grow, they can take a lot of abuse and still be healthy.
Grow your own ti leaves in Haiku Maui after you find a home to buy.
