Happy Mardi Gras!

A Time Full of Wonderful Memories

It has been 17 years since I have visited New Orleans but it continues to be etched into my brain. Rick and I visited there before Katrina devasted the area. There were so many wonderful memories.

Cafe Du Monde...and Beignets!

When I was a young girl, I traveled on occasion with my father on business trips and I remember the beignets at Cafe Du Monde. On a layover, Rick and I headed for the French Quarter and never could find Cafe Du Monde so on our next trip we made sure to find the location.

A Very Special Energy of the South

We were able to visit a couple of plantations as well as enjoy some famous restaurants and cuisine by Chef Emeril Lagasse. There is something very special about the people and the energy of New Orleans. From the top restaurants and chefs to the chicory coffee and beignets of Cafe Du Monde to that Southern Charm, you also will make memories in New Orleans.
