I just switched service providers and transferred my cell phone number to a new carrier. It was on my radar for quite some time for 2 reasons:

What is it with all the extra fees (I'm looking at you Verizon!)? I much prefer to have one amount, and to know exactly what to expect each and every month. That's not what I was dealing with for the last few years however.. it was one "base" amount plus service fees plus regulatory fees plus account fees plus what-not fees. For sellers, it is simply and predictably one commission rate that we agree upon at time of execution of our listing agreement. For buyers, it is typically $0 as the commission due is covered by the seller. No gimmicks. No add-ons. No what-not fees.
The commission our seller clients pay includes all of our services, the portion that is offered via the MLS to the buyer's brokerage - though not a law per se, it is very much customary in the State of MD. It includes professional photography - plus an interactive floor-plan if that is beneficial to your listing. It includes pre-listing to-do lists, and staging advice. It includes our network of 3rd party providers. It includes online marketing via single property websites, such as RealBird, blogging, and social media. It includes printed marketing materials, and open houses. It includes showing service.
It includes personal, professional attention and service. It includes convenience such as electronic signing. It includes answering as many questions as you may have. It includes facilitating, managing, brokering. All of which will lead to your very own Happy Closing Day! And all for one fee - without gimmicks, without add-ons, and without what-not additional fees. It's clear, uncomplicated, and transparent from the beginning.
