Influences...............
Sheila Anderson is right and we always need to pay attention to what is influencing us and hopefully we choose the right path to head down.
There isn't a day that goes by when I am not impacted, alas influenced by something. Sometimes it is simple: like the weather or the radio or a passing comment. Other days it is something more: like my health, or people I respect, or even pressures of needing to succeed.
When I think about this I am taken by the shere numbers of things that matter and then those that don't. I know what influences me most of the time but then there are the subtle things that seemingly come from nowhere and make a huge difference. While I stay away from politics, I am without question impacted by by the state of my state. I don't want to be but it is a real pressure that I feel and can not escape. There are also the life forces that no one can control, death and disasters are but two. All of these things make a huge difference in my day to day life.
I have come to believe that all I can do is the best I can do, and so as time marches on, I think less and act more.What influences you?
