Celebrate the Grand Re-Opening of the Village Faire Courtyard March 7 and 8 in Carlsbad
The Carlsbad Village Faire Shopping Center is a popular dining and shopping destination in the heart of Carlsbad, with an attractive courtyard and fountain that is a wonderful gathering place for residents and visitors year-round.
The Village Faire Shopping Center is also the scene of many events throughout the year, especially at holiday time.
The courtyard has been closed for renovations and improvements since the start of the new year, and will have its grand re-opening this weekend, Saturday and Sunday March 7th and 8th with fun and festivities for all at the “Lights, Water, Action” celebration.
On Saturday the kick-off is at 4 pm with fun until 7 pm. You can expect live music, a photo booth, refreshments, and free give-a-ways. There will also be a scavenger hunt plus a wine garden for the adults (21 and older of course).
Celebrate on Sunday from 12 noon until 3 pm with activities for kids, including a scavenger hunt for prizes, balloon animals, face painting, and interactive art, plus live entertainment and refreshments and the photo booth.
The first 50 people each day get a goodie bag, too. Now there’s an incentive to arrive early.
In addition to the grand re-opening celebration, you can explore the Village Faire restaurants and retailers – your favs as well as places you might not even be aware of. The weather should be pleasant with good temps for being outdoors. You can expect a pretty good crowd so parking at the shopping center, and nearby, may be a bit challenging.
The Carlsbad Village Faire is located at 300 Carlsbad Village Drive, just west of the railroad tracks on the right.
