- Crisis Assistance Ministry: Crisis Assistance Ministry accepts donations of clothing, household goods, blankets, personal care items, furniture, mattresses, appliances, and more. Habitat For Humanity Re-Store: Habitat for Humanity accepts furniture, appliances, building supplies, plumbing supplies, electronics, books, household goods, and more. For a complete list of what to donate to Charlotte's Habitat For Humanity, click here. If you have larger items to donate, Habitat for Humanity can schedule a pick-up.
- Carolina Refugee Resettlement Agency: Carolina Refugee Resettlement Agency provides services to help resettle refugees in the Charlotte region. - Beds For Kids: Beds for Kids empowers families with children by delivering beds and other essential furniture items to supplement the family’s resources as they rise out of poverty and into self-sufficiency. You can donate mattresses, box springs, bed frames, dressers, bunk beds, lamps, bookshelves, coffee tables, dressers, kitchen tables and chairs, sofas and upholstered chairs to Beds For Kids. Assistance League of Charlotte Thrift Shop: The Assistance League Thrift Shop accepts gently used items such as furniture, clothing, books, toys, jewelry, household items, electronics, computers, shoes, sports equipment and baby items. Proceeds from the Thrift Shop help fund Assistance League of Charlotte philanthropic programs.
