I found a recipe to make your own hand sanitizer.   I have not tried it because we have so much available to us still,

Just in case you find yourself with out..

Ingredients

The WHO has a comprehensive guide on how to make your own hand sanitizer—the only problem is that if you follow these instructions, you’ll end up with a lot of it. Like, exactly 2.6 gallons of it. If you want to make enough to last you, your family, and all your friends through a zombie apocalypse, you definitely can. But if you want to keep things on a smaller scale, we’ve adapted the measurements for you.

Actually 75% C2H5OH is adequate. Do not forget to add some herbal scent. To get these virus off apply on your hands will not work. One needs to rub them off with hands. Apply basic hygine practice taught from grade school days will work. 

On shared contact like door knobs, car dashboard. steering wheel, seats. Wipe down and spray Lysol.

Thank you Ginger!  I think about the elderly since I am now a home care providor for my 90 year old mother.  Being healthy, my concern is my mother and it has been a positive experience.  That is until this virus hit the news.  Now I constantly hear about the challenge for the elderly and they mention the "elderly 60+" people.  At 70 myslef, it took the virus to bring awarenss that the elderly would be me too.  When did I get so old?  :-)
