Enjoy the Beauty of Your Day
When I began working for the public as a REALTOR, 15 years ago, I think I was still in the "immortal" mindset we feel when we are younger. Many of us still have both parents, enjoy decent health, and don't worry about tomorrow.
I turn 60 this year, and although I have many, hopefully, working years ahead of me, I've begun to grow more introspective. For instance, my step father passed when he was 62, and I was so glad that my parents never waited for "someday" to do travels, trips, and fun things together. My mother has the memories.
A few years back, my husband and I began doing the same as much as possible. Time has become more and more precious.
So, fast forward to NOW and there's a lot of information (true and false) about the Coronavirus. Bottom line is, people who are loved and have families and networks are dying. And, Everyone has their own story.
This year, I've lost 4 clients to illness or accident and it is crushing. Today I received a call that the youngish contractor remodeling my bathroom suddenly passed.
Please, please, please -- amid the emergency stockpiling and mask wearing and hand washing and fear -- enjoy the beauty of your day.
