
The Hawaiian
Humane Society’s
Pet Food Bank
has distributed food to thousands of pets and their people since its creation in 2010. Providing temporary assistance to those in need of food for their animals, the Pet Food Bank program is run solely through donations from the community, pet stores and the Hawaii Food Bank.
Donate:
Donations of unopened, unexpired, pet food and other supplies needed for outreach programs are accepted at the Hawaiian Humane Society.
- Dry or canned dog / cat food
- Dry kitten / puppy food
- Collars (all sizes)
- Leashes (all sizes, non-retractable)
How to Apply for Pet Food Bank Assistance:
Visit Hawaiian Humane’s Adoptions Center, located at our Mo’ili’ili campus, during regular business hours.
- Weekdays – 11 am to 7 pm
- Weekends – 10 am to 4 pm
- Holidays – Hours vary
Photo ID is required at time of pickup. Acceptable forms of ID include Hawaii Driver’s License, Hawaii State ID, Honolulu Bus Pass, Passport, Food Warehouse Club Card and Hawaii State Library Card. Other forms of identification may be approved upon Hawaiian Humane Society staff discretion.
Assistance is limited to one application per household. Applications must be filled out completely in order to receive assistance.
