WHEN YOU GET LEMONS YOU MAKE LEMONADE

By
Education & Training with Performance Development Strategies

The uncertainty of the Coronavirus has certainly affect so many lives, businesses, and schedules.  Some things have been unaffected but cancellations have affected.

We are certainly used to this in the Northeast in the Winter storm season but we have been hit with extended closing.

One example is Fordham University, where I teach the HR certification course on Saturdays in March and April.  The school has suspended on campus classes for two weeks.  I found out that the school has a master license for the Webex video program.

Viola, the solution.  I am going to use Webex for the next two Saturdays.  When life gives you lemons you make lemonade!

Morning Grant.

There is always a solution to an issue.  The problem is, a lot of people just give up and they don't look for another way of doing it

James - sometimes a problem is an opportunity for something new.

Wayne - yes, it is kind of neat too.  I was just testing it.

Michael - I always try to accentuate the positive.

My Zoom stock is up 65% in the last three months becasue of this. It is going to get worse since only 4500 test have been administered here versus over 100,000 in South Korea. Dr. Anthony Fauci has said that at a minimum this is 10 times more lethal than the flu. As they once said on NYPD Blue, be careful out there.

Technology certainly helps to keep things running smoothly when the effects of the world try to slow things down.

Work arounds, that is creativity at its best. Good for you Grant. I was in a shop yesterday, and the store manager was concerned as to how this virus is impacting small business. The stores are empty, and the parking lots too.

We are also keeping mom away from crowded places, it makes sense if someone falls in the more vulnerable category. However, I'm trying to do business as usual - with a lot of hand washing.

Grant many schools are shutting down for two week periods.  My granddaughter's elementary school in the suburbs of Seattle shut down last week until next Monday.

Good for you Grant!!! That's definitely doing something positive instead of complaining.  They had to close the rodeo early today as well as postpone the Houston Run but all in all, everyone's health is so much more important.
