Wordless Wednesday: Everyone Needs a Buddy Sometime

Cat and buddy in Manhattan Beach

We were in Manhattan Beach on Sunday having breakfast with our daughter and her family. As we have often done in this charming beach town, we took a quick walk after our meal.

I spied this cat and his/her buddy up on the 3rd floor deck of a beautiful contemporary home taking in the gorgeous ocean views down the hill, and could not resist snapping a photo. Wish the angle would have allowed me to also capture the view. The guy went back inside...perhaps to fill up the coffee mug...and the cat followed, no doubt hoping for a snack!

Of course my real estate eye had me wondering what this oceanview property cost?!

What a great photo!  I am sure that is a great location to share with a buddy and a cup of coffee!

Hello Jeff - I like the photo and it's sure to grab the attention of Nina Hollander and others who have such strong feline feelings.   As for the price of the propety, I imagine with that view and the Manhattan Beach location it's definitely the cat's meow.  Purr-fect.  Certainly close.

Jeff- that's sweet. I love seeing a man/ woman and their dog/cat together like this.   It's like saying 'we're all in this together."

Thanks Bob Crane . I thought it was so cute...one of those moments you just have to capture.  No doubt this is a regular routine for them both!

It was very cute Kat Palmiotti  and even better when the guy went back in the house and his bud followed. Glad I witnessed it.

Both our cat are lap cts, and early morning coffee always includes a cat for each of us Raymond Henson, SRES, GRI

My guess, from what I know about this area, is about $5 million.

Good morning Jeff. While I am allergic, my best friend has 2 cats that are his constant companions and let him know when they want a snack!mThe photo, absent one cat, reminds me of hom. Enjoy your day!

I do the same. When I first saw the Duomo in Florence I started wondering how much the marble facade cost.

That looks like the way that life should be spent, a beautiful view to enjoy with a nice drink and a buddy to enjoy it with.

My heart would have been in my throat seeing that cat on the third floor balcony like that.  Clearly, this is a daily occurrence for them.

Wayne Martin

Cats are pretty good about asking for snacks, at least ours are. And they are good buddies much of the time...at least when it suits them! LOL.

I totally get that Joe Pryor  I wonder about RE wherever I go it seems. No doubt many of us do, at least from time to time. And the Duomo is amazing - you have to marvel about some of the architecture and how long it took to create it.

Hi Chris Ann Cleland  - yep I get that...I certainly wondered how that cat got up on the railing. Probably does it all the time.

That cat makes me nervous on that railing.  If it was my cat, I'd name him, Wallenda!

That's a great name Myrl Jeffcoat . I remember the Great Wallendas from years ago...and of course several horrific falls.
