One of the most asked questions from would be Home Sellers is, "Should I still list my home For Sale?" The answer is not as easy as yes and no. I have been talking to each Buyer or Seller individually. Many have planned on a spring purchase or sale awaiting winter to end. Many are comfortable listing their homes and are rewarded with a quick sale. Many buyers do not want to miss a new listing that could be their chance.
I find having conversations with would be Buyers and Sellers, letting them know the pros, the cons and answering their concerns. There are protections and pre-cautions we can take. The bottom line is, for those still concerned, waiting is the best option for them. For others, they may need to sell. They may have a home they want to buy but can not without selling their home. There are relocation buyers. There are older folks needing homes on one floor. I have heard from those in divorce and sadly one whose parent passed away who has to sell right away.
In the end, buyers are still buying. The decrease in interest rates bolstered buyers to up their search, as they know rates may go back up when the crisis passes.
THE BOTTOM LINE is if you or someone in your family is sick. Everyone in that house should stay home. That means no showings on home if someone is sick. It also means buyers who are sick should wait until they are well to look again.
The summary would be to know how important it is important that every Buyer or Seller should not just choose any agent, choose the BEST agent for the job. Having an agent that works for you is a must. Support your local businesses.
My philosophy is simple, provide more personal and professional service to guide my clients through each step of the buying or selling process. All Agents are not created equal and every buyer or seller should take the time to hire the BEST not just the biggest. Those that hire me, find a dedication like no other.
