Charlotte Market Update - MARCH 2020
Charlotte home sales continued to sizzle lat month, rising by 2.2% year-over-year with 4,688 homes sold. Sales rose by 3.6%, compared to the previous month.
Sellers across the city continued to flex their muscle with the average sales price ($304,569) and median sales price ($262,640) seeing gains of 9% and 11.9% year-over-year, respectively.
Pending contract activity was up 24.8% with 4,888 contracts written during the month of February, signifying significant buyer demand.
Inventory will continue to pressure costs for the foreseeable future, falling 31.3% across the 16-county zone, leaving the area for sale with 6,757 homes and a 1.5 month supply of inventory.
