A Week Ago......

A week ago today I was sitting by a pool in Chile. It was hot but pleasant. Today I am waiting at home to get dog food and toilet paper tomorrow morning. Things have really changed for me.It was hard to leave Chili but I was ready to come home. Ironically I felt better and safer in Chili than I do now. 

When I arrived home there was NO SCREENING of any kind at JFK. I was screened when I arrived in Chile. What's wrong with this picture......? Everything. Elections do have consequences. It will be a long haul but by the grace of G-d we will all survive. A week seems like a very long time now.

Hi Sheila:

What a culture shock this must have been, not to mention all the challenges that has beset us all recently with quarantines, food shortages, and more. While on the one hand it must be nice to be home, but what a different home than you left not that long ago.

When you arrived home JFK was already designated as one of 11 CDC approved airport. Chile checked your temp, which allowed you to fly home...and you did not need further testing.  It has nothing to do with elections.

Our country is doing the best it can.  For once our government is cooperating and looking for ways to ease this event.  

I have ordered on line cat food from Amazon, and you can order from Pet Smart and Petco, also.  Stay positive, and remember, this too shall pass.  A

Sorry Alexandra but my temp was taken in Chile when I arrived. It was disconcerting to be rushed through at JFK without any screening of anyone. Now we are barring people from everywhere but when we could and should of been checking everyone......nothing. Our government was too slow to react and continues to be behind the curve.      Sheila

South Korea is now up to 18,000 tests a day and as of yesterday we are at 11,000 total. The ineptness of this administration on this is getting people killed.
