Sacramento County Listing and Sales Statistics for February 2020

Sacramento County experienced a -41.3% decrease in number of homes listed FOR SALE in February 2020 vs. the same month a year ago.  For the same period there was a -5.9% decrease in the percentage of homes SOLD.  Pending sales increased 14%.  
 
Interest rates continue to remain reasonably low. It's a GREAT time to buy for those who are finding suitable homes!

Hi Myrl... I would venture a guess that the increase in pending sales to some degree stemmed from the low interest rates.

Myrl Jeffcoat,  your February 2020 market report shows a considerable drop in Inventory for Sacramento County since the February 2019 report.  Yet, Pendings and Solds seem to be holding their own.  What do you feel is main reason

Thanks for the info Myrl, We are not seeing that much of a decrease in our market but inventory does remain low and I think for the moment that is not a bad thing as the last thing we need now is a glut of inventory. Thanks for sharing
