Marketing has always been an issue for everyone in this chain. In 1998 HUD put me on the carpet for "Hogging the Work" till they found out I had offered every consultant on the SF list a free consultation if they would merely come out to my seminar and see what we do. If they liked it we would assist them in setting them up in their back yard for their benefit. We had an appraisal company at that time and could do the appraisals. The market has changed and we no longer give away our consulting. That is what we want from the partnerships we create.
If you are a lender and do "first time home-buyer events" to gain some leads... STOP doing things the way you have been doing it and start thinking out of the box.
If you are a Realtor and are seeking new buyers... STOP doing the way you have been doing it and start thinking out of the box.
Since I am a consultant I have always run the show but there is no reason that any of you can't run the show. Unless you just sit around and wait for the phone to ring. I never could do that. Our marketing program is unbelievable and will not only shock you and show you an entirely new way to market your services, but it will put lots of new clients in your pipeline.
When we get the country working again have me give you our talk at your company or association on the 203k and renovation loans in general. I guarantee you that you will learn something you hadn't thought of. If you have the pieces of the puzzle in the room you will leave that room with signed agency agreements or loan pre qualifications in your hand. No more wasting your time as so many seminars do. We produce results.
