CONFIDENCE IN GOD
PSALM 37:19 In times of disaster they will not wither; in days of famine they will enjoy plenty.
BARNES' NOTES The idea here is, that when trouble and calamity come, in seasons of famine or want, they will find their expectations, arising from confidence in God, fully met. Their wants will be supplied, and they will find him to be their friend.
This is in accordance with the promises which are made in the Scriptures, that God will provide for the needs of those who trust in Him.
