And the appearance of dolphins in the Venice Canal probably means less waste-infested waters... aside from the instinct of this highly intellectual mammals that something is out of normalcy that they checked the situation out.

Hello Margaret - I admit any title which includes Covid 19 has a tendency to pass when going through the blog roll(even those I follow like you) but I saw mention of this post in a comment by Ron and Alexandra Seigel in a comment thread so I am grateful to Alexandra for her praise-worthy words.  I agree.  

It reminds me once again that we each are dealt a deck of cards but how we "play" those cards definitely makes a big difference.  

Mentally, we all need some good news right about now, Margaret Goss ... you provide comfort and hope.  Something certainly in short measure currently ... thank you!

 Thanks for sharing. While I know there is a real threat, I do believe the news media loves to hype things up and instill fear in people.

During these times, I am encouraging people to be mindful of how much news they take in and focus on what we are grateful for. In fact, I encourage everyone to stop and literally speak out loud the things they are grateful for. This is something I do every morning when I get up.

Wishing you all peace and calm in the storm, and may our lives return to normal quickly.

Glad for all the progress, but realistically it's getting worse before it gets better.

I did read this somewhere else, but appreciate your post too. We've got to focus on the positive. 

Thank you for sharing this, Margaret. We need positive news these days in the midst of all the bad news. I'm glad to see this was featured, hopefully to be followed in the coming days by more good news. We certainly have a ways to go here in the US, with more changes every day.

There's also the simple malaria pill that has shown proven results to eliminate the virus in a test of 40 adults in southern France.  I think the FDA needs to release any of these drugs ASAP.

We are now in Day #6 of the 15 days . At the end of those , we will learn what the updated strategy is 

Good afternoon Margaret. There is some positive news here but I still think we are in for a very long haul.

Margaret, that is good information.

What I really like is when a need is exposed, people of all kinds respond.

In this case the alphabet soup of experts are all developing solutions that the report reveals pertain to specific situations. So, they are not all eventing the same wheel.

Even I have been hard at work in regards to prevention. My discoveries, although I lack the soup of letters after my name, actually present solutions for problems real estate agent have voiced every year. Solutions to long lived historic problems  and prevention of cyclical problems like the seasonal flu....when needs are exposed people rise to the call.

It's Exciting.

But there will always be those who will get on a cruise ship. The rest will understand THEY are responsible for their good health and take the actions needed.

I bet the genius's on Active Rain are all at work, ready to take their genius for a public walk as soon as the lock down is over.

Love it! Real, from a quality source like Diamandis... worth sharing all over the place. And with a week of "hindsight" now, being with family, gardening, reading, watching Tours of the Best Museums in the world and some much needed down-time were ALL positive things to be thankful for. There's plenty of good to be had by all.
